About Christian Homeschool Co-ops

Christian Homeschool Co-ops helps Christian homeschool families find a co-op near them. It is organized by state and then by city. Michigan is the first state, with 32 groups in 31 cities so far, and more states will be added one at a time.

Who runs it

The directory is owned and run by AMERA Media LLC. It is free to use.

Which groups we list

We list three kinds of group, and each listing says which kind it is:

We don't list full-time private schools, public or virtual school programs, tutoring businesses, or groups built around a single activity.

What a group must believe

A group is listed when its own website shows that it holds the Bible as God's Word, the Trinity, and salvation by grace through faith in Christ, or when it is run by a church that does. Bible-believing Protestant groups of every kind are welcome: Baptist, Reformed, non-denominational and more, Calvinist or not. We read a group's beliefs for their meaning, not for exact wording.

Some groups plainly call themselves Christian but publish no statement of faith. When nothing on their site or their church's site points outside the line above, we list them, and their listing says "Statement of faith not published on their site" so you can ask them directly.

Catholic, Orthodox, Latter-day Saint, Jehovah's Witness, and all-faiths or faith-neutral groups are not listed. When a group's beliefs are unclear, it stays off the site until we can check. We never guess.

How listings are made

Every listing is built from the group's own website and written in our own words. Each one shows the date its facts were checked. We never copy listings from other directories, and we don't take information from Facebook. Facts change, so please confirm with a group before you join.

Add or correct a group

If you lead a group that shares this faith, or a listing needs fixing, tell us about it. Groups that are only on Facebook are welcome. We review every submission before anything appears. Our privacy page explains what we do with the details you send.
