CHEMinistry (Christian Home Educators of Midland Ministry)
Midland, Michigan
CHEMinistry is a Midland support group of Christian home-educating families, and its Jr/Sr High co-op has met for more than 25 years in the family center behind Sunrise Church. Students in 7th to 12th grade take college-prep classes on Tuesdays, and every member family is expected to give real time to keep it running. Membership in CHEMinistry, which also runs field trips, robotics, speech and debate and a graduation ceremony, is required, along with a May meeting for families joining the co-op.
